Super Bowl

For super bowl weekend we went to Washington for our nephew's baby blessing. It was a short trip but we had a lot of fun. We stayed at Adam's brother Jared's house, his mom was able to come too. When we first got there we went to a couple pawn shops...and it was amazing! They just had a wall full of movies in each one, and they were 50% off...which they're normally 2 or 3 dollars each. So we ended up getting 15 new movies for about $15. We thought it was a great deal. We got some good ones too like the bourne and x-men trillogies. Later on we went to the YMCA and enjoyed a few hours at the pool. And then Sunday after church we had a great super party. Jared was a great host for it, so we decided we'll probably spend every super bowl with him and his family. There was a TON of great food...good company...crappy game! We are big colt's fans...so needless to say we were a little bummed after the game. But we were glad we were able to go! Here is our new nephew, he's got a head full of hair! (it's impossible to get a picture of me with my eyes open) Here's a picture before the game....
And After...

Good Times

Well to bring everyone up to speed since I haven't posted about it yet, Adam has been working with the school district the past month and a half, he works at the alternative school as a behavior tech, and I believe he is enjoying it, although some of the kids are a HAND FULL! But he's really good with them. Anways...the past 3 months I have been trying to find a job, and it's funny that once ya get to the breaking point it all works out. Today I've heard back from 4 of the companies...so in one day I went from nothing to have 4 options! So now I just have to make a decision, so it's a good day. Also I thought I would share with everyone, my sister has been coupon shopping for a bout a year now and has saved tons of money, so she's teaching me now. But she found a site thats bountifulbaskets.org you pay $16 a week and get a huge box full of fruits and veggies, you just order it every tuesday and pick it up on saturday, they have pick up places all over utah, and in idaho I know they have it in Idaho Falls, Poky and Rigby....and this is what I got this week....

I was SO excited! It's a GREAT deal!

Basketball

One of my favorite things about being back in Rupert, is we've been able to go to pretty much all of David's basketball games this year...and it's been SO much fun! It's his senior year so I'm glad we've been able to go. This last weekend was his senior night, some of the family was able to be there to cheer him on. They have a really good team this year, they are second in their district, hopefully they'll be able to make it to state this year!
